Byte-Sized Brief
- Apple may adopt a new design language inspired by visionOS.
- Home screen icons and animations are rumored to receive subtle changes.
- A dual-camera recording feature is reportedly coming to Pro models.
According to a leak covered by Front Page Tech, Apple is rumored to be planning a design refresh for iOS 19 that incorporates elements from the Vision Pro’s operating system. This includes a more glassy, less traditional look, with redesigned icons and smoother animations. The update will also feature a refined Control Center and Settings app with minor visual changes.
One of the most exciting additions we could see is a new dual-camera recording feature for iPhone 17 Pro models. This would allow for simultaneous video capture using the front and rear cameras. Additionally, a new dock-style tab view is being tested in several native apps, and the Messages app could see its search bar moved to the bottom of the screen.
