The Bear, Ironheart: What’s New to Watch on Disney+ and Hulu the Week of June 20, 2025

Whether you subscribe to them individually or as part of a bundle deal, Disney+ and Hulu both have a lot to offer streaming fans. Disney has the ultra-popular Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu brings the heat with tons of original shows and movies from around the world, coupled with American TV shows from network partners. There’s a lot to watch, with new stuff added every day, so I picked out the three best choices for the weekend and the week ahead, including a new Marvel show, a hit musical and the return of The Bear. The full list of TV shows and movies coming to the streaming services can be found below.

This Week on Hulu and Disney+: PCMag’s Picks

Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical (June 20/Disney+)

Disney’s found great success transforming its animated features into Broadway shows, with productions like The Lion King making bank and getting critical raves and awards. Frozen has done just as well, and if you haven’t been able to shell out the cash to see it performed live, this professionally filmed performance of the London West End production is just what the doctor ordered. Starring Samantha Barks as Elsa, it’s a wildly entertaining take on the source material.

Ironheart (June 24/Disney+)

It seems wild that there’s been basically zero hype around Marvel’s latest Disney+ series, Ironheart, following the adventures of Riri Williams after the last Black Panther movie. It’s also the final installment in “Phase Five” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That’s… a lot of phases. The series, which runs six episodes with the first three on the 24th and the next three a week later, has Williams facing off with Parker Robbins, a street criminal who stumbles into supernatural powers and reinvents himself as the Hood.

The Bear: Season 4 (June 25/Hulu)

You’d never think a show about making sandwiches could be the most stressful thing you’ve ever watched, but FX’s The Bear gets it done. Now in its fourth season, Carmy has the restaurant he’s always wanted, only to end the last season with a bad review from the Chicago Tribune. Anybody who has ever worked in the industry knows that a single negative review can sink an eatery, and tempers are already at their breaking point.

  • Directors: Christopher Storer and others

  • Cast: Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bacharach

  • Genres: Drama

  • Rating: TV-MA

  • IMDB Score: 8.5/10
