If you’ve ever needed to split a bill or pay someone back on the spot, it’s now as simple as a tap. Or if they aren’t close by, use the Online Transfer tab to search for their Samsung account. The feature supports transfers from $1 to $500, and the sender pays a 1.75 percent fee (this fee is waived through July 24). It’s available in the U.S. on devices running Samsung Wallet and Android 12 or higher.

The Bottom Line

Samsung’s Tap to Transfer feature allows you to send money with a simple tap. It works with major cards and most Android devices, but there is a fee and some limits.
