Adobe introduced major updates to Firefly, its generative AI platform, at its MAX London conference. The new Firefly Image Model 4 and 4 Ultra offer higher realism and control, allowing users to fine-tune every aspect, from style to camera angles. Adobe also launched the Firefly Video Model, which turns prompts into 1080p video clips. These models are built to be commercially safe and are now generally available.

Firefly Boards is also live in public beta. It’s a collaborative tool that helps creators plan, iterate, and visualize ideas using AI. Integrated tightly with Photoshop and other Creative Cloud apps, Firefly now supports partner models from OpenAI and Google, providing more flexibility in how they work. Everything is clearly labeled with Content Credentials, making it easy to see where the AI content originated.
