Byte-Sized Brief
- A Samsung update added visual conversations to Gemini Live.

- Real-time responses with Gemini Live started rolling out April 7.
In a press release on its website, Samsung announced a new capability coming to its Galaxy S25 phone lineup via a software update. The new feature will allow users to press the side button on their phone to enable Gemini Live and allow it to use the camera to “see” what the user sees.
Samsung pointed to several use cases for the feature, including help picking out an outfit, figuring out a meal based on your fridge contents, and organizing a messy closet. The update began rolling out on April 7 and is free to all Galaxy S25 users (but it does require a Google account).
