Perhaps to offset disappointment with recent price hikes, Disney this week launched a new Perks program for streaming subscribers with various experiences, sweepstakes, and discounts.
Disney first launched its subscriber Perks program in 2023, but back then, it was limited to Disney+ subscribers. This year, the media giant is offering perks for both Disney+ and Hulu, with what it calls an “always-on” approach, whatever that means.
The revamped program launches in the US today and will be rolling out to international markets later this year. It applies to both standalone Disney+ subscribers and those with a bundle. Hulu perks begin on June 2.
Some of the perks available at launch include a free six-month DoorDash DashPass membership for first-timers, a 20% discount for purchases made on the Adidas website and app, a two-month free trial of Super Duolingo, a chance to win tickets to the world premiere of Disney’s Freakier Friday movie, and discounts for select Disney Resorts Collection hotels and All-Star Sports Resort.
A few subscribers can enter to win a four-night cruise on the Disney Destiny, which will set sail from Ft. Lauderdale in November. Check the press release to find the full list of perks.
“Our fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and Perks are our way of thanking them for subscribing to Disney+,” said Samantha Rosenberg, executive VP of marketing at Disney+.

Hulu subscribers, meanwhile, can win tickets/passes to the Lollapalooza music festival, a Jimmy Kimmel Live! taping, and San Diego Comic-Con. They will also get access to perks from partners like Microsoft, Pure Green, and LG.
“This is just the beginning,” Disney says. “New Perks will drop regularly, giving fans more reasons to check in, discover something new, and engage with the stories they love.”
