This article explains how to view your TikTok watch history. The instructions apply to the TikTok app for Android and iOS.

How to See Your Watch History on TikTok

Want to find a video you previously watched on TikTok? Follow these steps to view your entire watch history:

  1. Tap Profile in the lower-right corner.

If you don’t see that option, tap the back button until you can see all the menu tabs along the bottom of the app.

  2. Tap Menu (the three lines) in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Settings and privacy.

  4. Tap Activity center.

  5. Tap Watch history. You’ll see all of the videos you’ve watched in the previous 180 days in chronological order. Tap a video to watch it again.

You can use TikTok from a web browser, but there’s no way to view your watch history from there. Also, any video you watch from a web browser isn’t recorded in the mobile app’s watch history list.

How to Delete Your Watch History on TikTok

If you want to delete videos from your watched list on TikTok, you can also do that from your profile settings.

Videos are automatically removed from your watch list after 180 days.

  1. Go to your watch history and tap Select.

  2. Tap the videos you want to remove (or choose Select all watch history), then tap Delete.

  3. Tap Delete again to confirm.

How to Search for TikTok Videos You’ve Already Watched

Another option is to filter your search so that you only see videos you’ve already watched.

  1. On the Home tab, tap the Search icon (the magnifying glass).

  2. Enter a keyword related to the video (the title, creator, topic, etc.) and tap Search.

  3. Tap the menu button to the right of the search bar, then select Filters.

  4. Tap Watched from the Video category section.

  5. Tap Apply to restrict the results to only the videos you’ve previously watched.
