The company dropped the Deep Research Connector and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, which allows tools like ChatGPT to access Canva without you having to leave your chat and open the Canva app. From a business perspective, this means that you can tap into previously created designs to guide the creation of new assets and keep your visuals consistent.

You can create Canva designs using AI generation capabilities without moving between programs. Once connected, your AI Assistant will have full access to your Canva workspace, allowing you to create designs that are both consistent with your brand assets and relevant to the work you’re doing with the AI assistant. And the best part is that the company promises these will be “one-click integrations.”
