The Best Unlocked Google Phone Deals

We bestowed an Editors’ Choice award on the Google Pixel 9 in our review, saying it delivered “high-quality hardware, rock-solid performance, excellent cameras, and good battery life,” and the latest iteration of the company’s flagship phone has tons of cool features for AI aficionados. It’s a sturdy and durable phone with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both front and back panels, along with a matte-finished aluminum frame. Under the hood, you’ll get a Google Tensor G4 processor that enables all kinds of cool stuff, including AI-enhanced photography tools that let you unblur images, replace faces and more. 19% is a nice price cut.

Size does matter, and if you’re looking for a big-screen phone with big performance to match, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will satisfy your needs. With a juicy 6.8-inch OLED display that’s one of the brightest we’ve ever seen on a consumer-grade phone, maxing out at 3,000 nits. It’s stellar for watching videos, gaming and more, even outside on a sunny day. Under the hood, you’ve got a potent Tensor G4 processor paired with a Titan M2 security chip. Other Best Unlocked Phone Deals

Most electronics drop in price a year or so after they’re released, but phones are notorious for big discounts. Case in point: a $500 drop on the extremely capable 2023 Motorola Razr+, an Android phone that will be more than enough to serve your needs for many years to come. In our review, we gave it an “Excellent” rating with props given to its compact foldable design, crisp and clear dual screens, and solid build quality. While the cameras and processor are lagging a little behind the latest generation of phones, this is an unbeatable deal if you’re in the market for a clamshell device.

Now here’s a solid Android phone we gave an “Excellent” rating to in our review, lauding the excellent display, capacious battery that can charge both wired and wirelessly, and high-quality Hasselblad camera module. The OnePlus 12 is a bit pricier than some other competitive models, but the build quality is first-rate, performance is impressive, and many quality-of-life features stand out. Some examples: an adaptive screen refresh rate up to 120Hz saves power and makes games run great; the biometric sensors are accurate and easy to use; and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is a powerhouse. A $150 discount feels pretty good.

This budget phone has a nice hundred-buck discount on a solid Motorola designed for precise input, thanks to its built-in stylus. In our review of the 2024 Moto G Stylus 5G, we praised its bright, crisp 6.7-inch display, as well as the combination of a capacious battery and fast charging. In our tests, we got over 22 hours of use before having to plug it in again. The camera quality is the biggest mark against this phone, and while they’re certainly not terrible, they’re outclassed by other phones in the same price range. Like many Motorola phones, it does still offer a 3.5mm headphone port in addition to USB-C charging.

We gave an Editors’ Choice nod to the Nord N30 from OnePlus in our review, saying that it delivered some surprising features that we don’t often see in budget phones, including a seriously overpowered main camera, rapid charging and a crisp, fast-refreshing screen. Built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, it handles most common Android apps with absolute ease, and it benchmarked well despite having a relatively low amount of system RAM at 8GB. The casing does not have an official IP rating for dust and water resistance, so pick up an external case with the money you save and try not to get it wet.
