I love the “brushless” guys. This thing is rated just as high as the brushless version and THIS is one heck of a deal for a very good tool. Looks like they will be getting rid of it at some point, but it likely hurts sales of the brushless version which is actually an excellent tool itself and both are superior to most others irrespective of brushes… I KNOW… I have a Ryobi that I ought to sell in a garage sale but I wouldn’t do that to another person. It looks all green and modern and is brushless too I believe and is a worthless piece of crap.

You young pukes, do yourself a favor and quit worrying about useless crap like looks and whether it’s got brushes or not and look at performance. No wonder the world is falling apart… The 885 “brushed” original DeWalt impact driver is similar. It’s cheap and practically indestructible and lots of people who started on one go back to it after trying one of the hundreds of others now out there and that’s just from DeWalt. Save yourself a dollar or 30 and buy yourself some avocado toast.
