Of all the streaming services, Max has gone through some of the biggest changes since it launched, and it’s about to get a rebrand back to HBO Max this summer. Whatever you call it, it delivers a serious selection of shows and movies from all of its partner networks in 2025, including HBO, Discovery, Food Network, and more. New shows and movies are constantly being added, so here are my three top picks for this weekend and the week ahead, plus everything being added below.

Virgins (June 10)

TLC, one of the many networks under the Warner Discovery banner, has fully transformed from “The Learning Channel” into “The Mostly Exploitative Reality TV Channel.” That said, recent series Virgins actually has some decent buzz for being kind to its four subjects, all adults who are still holding on to their V-cards.

Super Sara (June 13)

New Spanish-language documentary series Super Sara brings viewers the life and times of Sara Montiel, one of the most famous Spanish actresses of the 1950s and 1960s. From starting her career at 16 to being excommunicated by the Catholic Church, marrying multiple times, becoming an international singing sensation, and revealing steamy affairs with Ernest Hemingway and James Dean, she did it all.

Cleaner (June 13)

Casino Royale director Martin Campbell helms Cleaner, a new action flick starring Daisy Ridley as a soldier turned high-rise window washer who finds herself the only person who can disarm a hostage situation at an energy company. She soon discovers that her co-worker is part of the plot and the situation is a lot more complex than it seems. If you’re a Die Hard fan, that’s the best comparison, as the action traverses unusual environments inside and outside the building.
